Ingredients
- 20-24 graham cracker halves (chocolate or honey-flavored)
- ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 10 oz. bag sliced almonds
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
This is quick recipe too. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Then, line the bottom of a greased pan with graham crackers.
On the next layer, spread the almonds evenly.
Separately in a small saucepan, place the butter and sugar. Bring to a rolling boil over medium. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove saucepan from heat. After the mixture has stopped bubbling, pour it over the nuts. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and scatter chocolate chips over the top. I used a whole bag of Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips.
After a the chips have softened, spread the chocolate around with a butter knife.
Let the bark cool before breaking into random sized pieces.
